Welcome, comic fans! Here’s where I post my artwork pertaining to Marvel, DC, TMNT, and many other comic book universes! Whether it’s origami, digital drawings, or even Etch-A-Sketch, I post it here. Check back often to see what I draw next!
This weekend, I attended a great little comic convention called MiniCon. This time, I decided to enter my first cosplay contest ever with a suit I made earlier this year: Firestorm from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow! Yes, the crime-crushing, crimson and combusting hero himself. The contest is online this year, so please like the photo of Firestorm on FaceBook in the link above this post to vote for me! Thank you!
Hey, comic fans! I know I haven’t posted in over a year, but I definitely haven’t stopped doing fan art. Today, I made this sidewalk chalk drawing of Marvel’s epic new heroine Riri Williams, who is preparing to take on the mantle of Iron Man! She’s 15 years old, a science prodigy who’s already been accepted into MIT, and now she protects my driveway from arc-reactor bearing fiends.
I just made a science breakdown showing how much damage a supersonic punch would really do! I’m planning on changing things up around here. I’m going to focus a lot more on my new channel, Comic Doodles 2.0 . Stay tuned!
Arrow fans, here’s an Etch-A-Sketch drawing I made of Ray Palmer (or the Atom-to-be) from Arrow, along with the holographic rendering of the A.T.O.M. exosuit. Maybe I should call my Etch-A-Sketch the A.T.O.M., or Artistic Tool of Mystery!
I was also working on a chalk pastel sketch of Green Arrow. I can’t wait for the season to start back up again.
Any other fans of the Atom out there? I hope his suit will be absolutely epic!
I just made this watercolor painting of Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Last night, I watched the new movie again, and I caught a few Easter Eggs I didn’t notice, and I’ve got a few theories about what this means for a sequel!
I just made this collage of Baymax from Disney’s Big Hero 6. Ba-ta-la-ta-la-ta-la-ta-la!
The same night I posted it on Twitter, the official account for Big Hero 6 favorited it!
It’s Thanksgiving. Armed with a broom, I was tasked with sweeping the snow off my deck. Suddenly, I decided to get creative. Using the end of the broomstick, I doodled Batman’s 75th Anniversary symbol in the snow!
